Our vineyards are at Camporeale, at an altitude of about 400 to 450 meters above sea level, in the renowned Belice Valley, a corner of Sicily that has always been dedicated to viticulture. On these land our ancestors have cultivated the vine for hundreds of years.
In the early 2000s, the Marino, Vincenza and Nicolò families, with their sons Jessica, Andrea and Fabrizio, re-planted native vines on about 15 hectares.
Making wine was a natural and spontaneous choice for people who have learned, since they were children, working in the vineyards with parents and grandparents.
The love for the earth, the respect for nature and the environment, the pleasure and enthusiasm of creating, the passion for wine, characterize the way of life and the philosophy of the Marino family that carefully cares for its vineyards using exclusively biological methods, focusing mainly on the quality of their grapes, producing no more than 90 quintals per hectare by obtaining prestigious Wines.
Varieties of vines are
– red berry: Black D’Avola, Syrah
– white berry: Catarratto, Cricket, Chardonnay, Malvasia
Innovative processes of winemaking, refinement in steel tanks and “barriques” characterize the quality process by generating “Typical Wines” and a distinct personality.
