Grillo is the rediscovery of Sicilian native vines.
Often abused and used as cutting wine, it has been discovered that it is an elegant wine that can give great emotions and be able to refine in the bottle long enough to challenge the great international whites. He was born in Favara at the end of the nineteenth century, his parents are the Catarratto and the Zibibbo that Baron Antonino Amendola did “meet”.
Our Flavì is a 100% Grillo, cultivated on the hills of Monreale, after the vinification is left to rest in oak barriques. The nose immediately shows herbaceous notes, followed by exotic fruit such as pineapple and mango. In the mouth is round, balanced, persistent.
We recommend it with the fish but it is open to any kind of experimentation.
